Ministry & Work Experiences

Rev. Dr. Mills-Owoo served as GHAFES Missions’ Counsellor for the three major Universities in Ghana namely, University of Ghana, Kwame Nkrumah University of Science & Technology and University of Cape Coast for four consecutive years from 1986-1989. He was ordained into the Pastoral Ministry by the Ghana Baptist Convention in 1997. Between 1997 and 2010, he served as the head pastor and founder of the Temple of Grace Baptist Church, Maye-Hot Madina. From 2011 to 2018 Dr. Mills-Owoo served as the Head of South-West Ghana Sector of the Ghana Baptist Convention. With a strong conviction, he resigned from his pastorate position in the United States to become the Senior Pastor of Redemption Baptist Church and Executive Director of its Mission School in Cape Coast, Ghana, in 2011. Since then, the Church and School have experienced significant growth in human resources, spiritual maturity, academic performance, and physical infrastructure, all to the glory of God.

Following his passion for Ministerial Training and Mentorship of young Ministers, the Lord led him and other Educationists to start the Adonai Theological College (ATCOL), Ghana. The College is now the Cape Coast Campus of the Ghana Baptist University College, School of Theology and Ministry.

With the assistance of other colleagues of the Adonai International Ministerial Fellowship Alliance, USA, the Ghana Chapter, www.aimfaglobal.com, was established under his leadership with the sole aim/vision of partnering, empowering, and mentoring independent Ministers and Churches and to offer them some Ministerial covering and fellowship where they can also receive Recognition and Ordination to serve confidently in the Lord’s Vineyard.
